Meet Margo, our gentle sable Standard Poodle. With her calm demeanor, she’s the perfect companion who never bothers the kittens or chickens. Sweet and loyal, Margo brings a sense of peace and love to our home.  Margo is excellent with our kids and visitors.  She listens very well, and is easy to correct.  When she was a pup she started doing chores with me, at first she wasn't allowed into the chicken fence.  As time went on I could see she had no desire to chase them... so now as our animals free range she just calmly walks around with them outside.  She doesn't beg for attention, but always gently puts her sweet face beside you if she wants a pet.  She's happy and trustworthy.  Her puppies are the 6th generation of her line to be here. 

*Also.... Margo loves water!  She also loves to sleep under our bed (even fits when she's big pregnant somehow!) She loves playing with other dogs.  She steals the occasional egg if the basket is set down.  She can be a tiny bit timid, which is probably what makes her so easy to correct.
